starting with an energy balancing meditation, students will be guided in a breath-lead flow and then invited into release and relaxation. from the inside out, we will stimulate and nourish our bodies energetically and physically. once we are unwound, open and free, we will be ready for an ending heart-centered meditation.

as a child, molly spessard (ryt) was a dancer and gymnast, constantly costuming and performing with her family as the audience. after many school years with little exposure to creative movement, she found her way to yoga while living in the colorado mountains in the fall of 2000. seven years of practice and two children later, molly completed the teacher training program at white lotus foundation (www.whitelotus.org). also, go to www.onespringsun.com to learn more about molly's projects.

welcome to lotus, a yoga and meditation center in the heart of historic downtown newnan, georgia. located in the latimer building above the inspirational store, the other side of the moon, lotus is a center focused on bringing yoga and meditation to newnan. if you have ever thought that you wanted to try yoga and meditation, but did not know where to go or "how" to do it, then please come by and experience! we are excited to have many classes of yoga for beginners as well as those at an intermediate level. our meditation classes are for the student who has never meditated before, as well as those who have been meditating for years. if you are curious, come in and ask questions! enter, breathe the expanded air, and feel the great energy that the building has to offer. whether you want to have some time to focus on you, learn more about spirituality, experience the Divine in yet another way, or to feel a sense of community, you are welcome at lotus. namaste.
